Shipping Guns To M & S for
Repairs..

Dissemble the gun ( i.e. remove the barrels from the
action).
- We
recommend that you use bubble wrap to separately
wrap the barrels and the action and place in
sturdy cardboard carton or use a hard case. Ensure
that the gun cannot "shuffle" around in the package

Make absolutely sure
that the gun is unloaded and that no ammunition is
included in the package with the gun.

Contact us first to agree on the work to be done and
then Include a letter in the package detailing the
work to be done and include your name, address,
phone and e-mail contact information.

Include Proof of Ownership or a copy of the
Registration with the package
- Ship
my an insured Carrier. ( We recommend that our
Canadian customers use the service of DHL-Loomis
Couriers).
Alternatively, Our American and Canadian customers can
bring their guns directly to us when they come to enjoy
some of the finest wild partridge and grouse shooting in
the world. Leader, Saskatchewan where M&S is located, is
in the best upland hunting areas for Hungarian
Partridges and Sharp Tail Grouse. We can supply visitors
with all the necessary hunting licenses so that in a few
minutes you can be headed out.
Buying Guns From Us...
We always have in our
Inventory more than 50 fine double guns for sale and you
can choose the wood and have any of these re-stocked to
your measurements.
For Our Canadian Customers..
Only Canadian customers
with a valid PAL license can purchase a gun from us.
We will do all the
necessary transfer and registration paperwork and you
can take delivery usually within 24 to 48 hrs.
Alternatively we can ship
the gun to you at the address on your PAL
For Our US Customers who do
not wish to come to Canada..
Once you have purchased a
gun from us, in order to have it shipped to you in the
USA, You will need to obtain an Import license from
the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Fire-arms (BATF). by completing
the appropriate form (Form
6) that may be found on their website.
It usually takes a few weeks to obtain their approval.
Once we have a copy of the BATF approved Form 6, and a copy of the
FFL from your local friendly firearms dealer, we will
ship
the gun insured and properly packed by air freight to him.
Please note that the name of the dealer who will receive
the gun, must be on the approved Form 6.
You can expect to pay about 4% duty on the Invoiced
price as well as approximately $ 25 -40 to your local FFL
dealer for receiving the gun on your behalf.
For Our Other Customers..
Generally speaking, in
countries where the private ownership of shotguns is
permitted, prior import consent must be obtained from
the relevant government or police departments. They will
issue you with an letter of authorization and/or an
International Import Certificate authorizing you to
import the gun. Once we have received this we can
usually ship the gun and should be in your possession in
two to four weeks. Please e-mail us to work out the
required documentation and shipping logistics.
